The zinc-manganese battery is a primary battery with manganese dioxide as the positive electrode, zinc as the negative electrode, and ammonium chloride aqueous solution as the main electrolyte. Commonly known as dry battery. Also known as Leclanché battery in academia.
Alkaline zinc-manganese battery is an upgraded high-performance battery product of ordinary dry battery. There are LR6 (5th) and LR03 (7th) battery products. The products are divided into ordinary type (mercury content of 0.60%) and micro-mercury content (mercury content of not more than 0.025%). Trial production of mercury-free batteries is being carried out.
